LG Leader Guide | Week of 3.23.2025
Hello LG Leaders!
On Sunday we talked about the transfiguration of Jesus in Mark 9:2-13. Joe helped us see how the glory of Jesus, the love of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit was revealed to the disciples in order to strengthen them to trust God and endure what they were soon to experience in Jesus’ crucifixion. In the same way, we must be strengthened for what lies ahead. Check it out here! This week’s discussion guide and kids guide are posted.

Lifegroup Best Practice of the Week:
Pray for your Lifegroup! When was the last time you prayed by name for the people in your group? No guilt or shame regardless of your answer…consider this a fresh invitation into more. When we talk to our heavenly father and go to him on behalf of others (intercede) we are soon filled with His compassion and His love for them. This in turn frees us to love them as we have been loved. This shift in our heart regarding the people in our Lifegroups (especially those whom at times may be difficult to love, like we all can be) will show up in the most practical of ways…from how to you encourage them in ministry time, to the patience you demonstrate in listening, to how you welcome them at the door. Go to God consistently in prayer for your LG and you will find yourself being formed by the Holy Spirit, the very sprit of Almighty God, into the image of his Son, our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
We are so thankful for the variety of ways that you lead and love on the body of Christ at Antioch Dallas! Have a question or concern about something? I’m always happy to hear from you.
Grace and peace,
Donny Tapie
