LG Leader Guide | Week of 2.9.2025
Hello LG Leaders!
You’ll notice we’re trying something different with our LG Leader Guide by moving from email to a “blog post” format. This way, you’ll have the previous guides all in one place… just come here for the latest info or to reference something from the past. We’ll also text each of you a link when it’s posted each Monday (ideally), Tuesday at the latest. On to the guide…
On Sunday we closed out our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting and completed our week of 24/7 prayer with a prayer service!! Way to go church! That said, we don’t want to simply move on from this or binge a show we’ve been fasting from…let’s be intentional with what we invite back into our lives and continue “Preparing for Harvest” as we move into the rest of 2025.
To help us, here is the 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting Reflection we used on Sunday to end our fast well. This will be a fruitful practice to do with your LG in place of discussion this week or send to your people to do themselves.

Lifegroup Best Practice of the Week:
Be intentional with your transitions in Lifegroup! Any time you’re moving from one activity to another in Lifegroup, take a second to explain what we’re going to do, why we’re doing it, and how exactly people should participate. This helps everyone to fully engage, feel like they’re apart, and spend their mental energy seeking God vs. being distracted wondering if they’re doing the right thing. This principle holds for every part of LG.
For example: “…Thanks for sharing vision James! We’re going to take some time now to worship God by singing songs to him. Remember, worship is giving our love to God and acknowledging who He is to us, so use the lyric sheets we printed out so you can follow along, these are songs we sing in church on Sundays. Remember to sing loud! Let’s all stand up, feel free to spread out or get comfortable. Jennifer, can you pray for us as we begin worship?” Or something like that!
As always, I’d love to hear from you on any questions, pastoral concerns, or anything else. We love and thank you for leading!
Grace and Peace,
Donny Tapie
